The photographic approach of Vibhav Kapoor (b. 1999, India) revolves around the observation of places, exploring memory, forms and spaces. His series are created during improvised wanderings. The photographs tend to walk the line between documentary and poetry. They intend to explore the mystery and memory of places, offering an allusion to an “implicit presence in unclear absence.” His research engages with the themes of nature, ontology and perception.
